Alpine Mountain Ranch & Club Steamboat Springs

Alpine Mountain Ranch & Club Steamboat Springs

Nestled in the picturesque town of Steamboat Springs, Colorado is Alpine Mountain Ranch & Club—a 1,216-acre residential development boasting 63, five-acre homesites and 900 acres of open space and wildlife preserve. Established on the historic land of Yampa Valley and rooted in Western culture, Alpine Mountain Ranch & Club is known for its profusion of authentic amenities such as its onsite equestrian facilities, backcountry cabin, private lake and luxury guest cabins.
The property is contiguous to Steamboat Ski Resort, Catamount Golf Club, and the National Forest, and is only a five-minute drive to downtown Steamboat Springs, making it an optimal location to purchase a high-end custom home or homesite. My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying in one of the community’s guest houses adjacent to the private, Lonecast Lake on the property. From arrival to departure, we were welcomed by all that Steamboat Springs and Alpine Mountain Ranch & Club have to offer. The activities were abundant, the scenery was out of this world, and none of us wanted to leave.

Steamboat Springs
Home to the Steamboat ski resort, Steamboat Springs is a quaint city and ski town located in northern Colorado’s Yampa Valley. Between Steamboat’s deep roots in ranching and its tight-knit community, the people of Steamboat Springs greatly appreciate their natural surroundings and are dedicated to preserving them. This devotion to preservation is perhaps what makes the city so picturesque. From its fall foliage to snow-capped mountains in the winter to its vibrant colors in the spring and summer, Steamboat Springs offers idyllic scenery all year round. Likewise, the town is just as picturesque with its historic charm. The main street boasts over 100 bars and restaurants, and many local culinary options offering quality more synonymous  with a cosmopolitan resort than a ski town. A unique fun fact about the city is that Steamboat Springs has produced 100-and-counting Olympians, more than any other location in the U.S. Because of this, locals claim Steamboat Springs as the Olympic capital of the nation and call it Ski Town, USA®. From its impressive ski slopes to the charm the town offers daily, Steamboat Springs is not only an ideal spot to vacation, but it’s an even better place to call home. We visited during the summer months and enjoyed a tube float down the Yampa River, a visit to the nearby Strawberry Park hot springs, a plethora of hikes, horseback riding, a Gondola ride to the top of the mountain with lunch at the base’s recreation center, and mountain biking.

Also of great delight were the almost daily short lightning storms, truly a beautiful site throughout the surrounding mountains. No matter the season, Steamboat Springs caters to a variety of adventurers with something for everyone.

Homesites & Custom Market Homes
Living amongst the breathtaking beauty of nature is an unparalleled experience that Alpine Mountain Ranch & Club offers. Alpine Mountain Ranch & Club is presently selling homesites priced at $2M+ and constructing fully custom Market Homes, showcasing a range of designs from Mountain-Transitional to Mountain-Contemporary. Available properties include premium golf homesites, premium club homesites, and the newest neighborhood called Upland Preserve, which features 13 of the ranch’s ultra-premium homesites

Premium Golf Homesites
A collection of four premium golf homesites is located on the southern ridge of the ranch, an aspiring area that overlooks both the brilliant breadth of South Valley and the undulating greens at Catamount Ranch and Club’s golf course. Ideal for those who play golf, these Premium Golf Homesites are merely steps away from access to the cart path that connects to Catamount’s Tom Weiskopf’s signature-designed course. In addition to neighboring the golf course, Premium Golf Homesites offer cart-path access to Catamount’s public fine dining restaurant.

Premium Club Homesites
At Alpine Mountain Ranch & Club, homeowners of the collection of five Premium Club Homesites have the luxury of being positioned steps away from some of the community’s top amenities and common spaces. Although all homeowners at Alpine Mountain Ranch & Club have unrivaled amenities, owners of Premium Club Homesites have the added benefit of direct access to these premium luxuries. Premium Club Homesites overlook the expanse of the ranch’s rolling hay meadows, Lonecast Lake, and Owner’s Barn and Lodge. These homesites are ideal for those craving easy access to all of the activities and amenities that the ranch has to offer.

Upland Preserve
For those seeking a home with panoramic views of the natural beauty of Steamboat Springs, a homesite in Upland Preserve is the perfect place to soak in the beauty of the South Valley. These thirteen, five-acre premium homesites are positioned at the highest point of the property on Rockledge Road, making for the finest views. All Upland Preserve homesites have convenient access to hiking trails and are near the National Forest.

The Vestige Residence
Regardless of the landscape you choose, each homesite showcases exquisite panoramic views. In addition to homesites, Alpine Mountain Ranch & Club is pleased to announce the completion of their latest, and presumably their finest custom market home, the “Vestige” residence. The “Vestige” residence is the sixth and final luxury speculative home Alpine Mountain Ranch & Club has delivered to the Steamboat Springs real estate market since 2019. With 5,353 finished square feet, four bedrooms, six bathrooms, and a 3.5-car garage, this unique residence features clean modern lines with a hint of rustic inspiration. The “Vestige” residence, designed by Vertical Arts, a well-known architectural and design firm based in Steamboat Springs, boasts an impressive mountain-contemporary style. Featuring large window walls and an expansive wraparound deck, the home was created to provide a seamless connection between the indoor and outdoor spaces while taking full advantage of the breathtaking views. Whether you crave a luxurious mountain retreat as a vacation home, or you’re looking for a more permanent residence, Alpine Mountain Ranch & Club is an unparalleled community.

Amenities
There are many amenities offered for homeowners living in Alpine Mountain Ranch & Club. Because of their positioning between Steamboat Resort and the Catamount Ranch & Club’s golf course, they can provide residents with access to amenities shared by no other community development in Steamboat Springs, all year long. Perhaps one of their most luxurious perks is their concierge services. With the plethora of amenities offered, Alpine Mountain Ranch & Club wants to ensure that residents are capitalizing on their time; concierge services provide homeowners with the convenience of arranging tee times, coordinating airport limo services, and even pre-stocking foods and wines, as well as regulating home temperatures upon owners’ arrival. The level of service offered is unparalleled.
Among their amenities, access to Alpine Mountain Summit Club is one of the most renowned. Owners at Alpine Mountain Ranch & Club have the exclusive opportunity for membership at its ski-in/ski-out Alpine Mountain Summit Club, a private social club located in the iconic One Steamboat Place that offers five-star amenities such as covered parking, private ski lockers with boot warmers, ski valets, daily breakfast and après ski, access to spa, fitness, pools, as well as members-only social events such as winemaker dinners, culinary classes, guided family-friendly activities, adventure tours and more. Steamboat Springs is known for its winter sports and there’s no better place to hit the slopes than Alpine Mountain Summit Club.

Another prominent feature for owners is easy access to live water for fly fishing. The waters in Steamboat Springs are known to have some of the best trout in the nation. Alpine Mountain Ranch & Club residents enjoy nearby access to live water fishing on the Yampa River as well as an onsite, stocked fishing lake with a dock. Owners can also take advantage of guided angling tours with the top fishing outfitters and guides in Steamboat Springs.

A favorite of ours were the onsite equestrian facilities and hiking opportunities. Located at the heart of Alpine Mountain Ranch & Club, the equestrian facilities were easily accessed by our entire group several times a day for both horses and hiking adventures. We enjoyed several trail rides and hikes and stopped by every evening to spend time with the horses. Horses are available during the season for homeowner use, but even better, homeowners can stable their own horses and enjoy them continuously during the warmer seasons.

The Preserve

Designed to be a low-density community that prioritizes privacy, breathtaking views, and minimal impact on the natural surroundings and wildlife, Alpine Mountain Ranch & Club has prioritized preservation from the beginning. Maintaining the integrity of land and wildlife doesn’t happen by accident, and Alpine Mountain Ranch & Club has designed each homesite with intentionality to ensure that there is a healthy ratio of undeveloped land to developed land. Every homesite either borders wildlife or upland preserve. Their mission is to ensure that the natural beauty of the area remains untouched for generations to come.
